CORRECTIONS
On P.32 of the September 2001 issue...note in the first item
"The Complete Book of Immigrants 1607-1660" re GEORGE RAWLINGS, it
should read JANUARY 1654 instead of what looks like a Japanese name from the
year 654.
In the December issue, P.58, 7th line, add between the words "maiden" and "Bush"...the word "name”.
On the next line, add between the words "WILLIAM"
and "ELVINA" a slash after WILLIAM followed by WILMA, then a comma.
This error is my fault, of course, but I need to explain that some records
state the second child of JOHN RAWLINGS 2nd marriage was a boy...others say it
was a girl. The most definitive word is that from that second marriage JOHN had
only one son, JAMES DAWSON.
Sorry about that.
And speaking of corrections, your editor, while doing some
research for a new subscriber thru the Indexes, has discovered many errors. If
I can remember I will go through all of them and attempt to correct them,
reporting those corrections in the next newsletter.
