The 11 children of JOHN HUTCHINGS RAWLINGS, son of Rachel Donelson Hutchings and JAMES SMITH RAWLINGS,,,and Sarah Jane Hays, dtr. of Lydia Butler and Stokely Donelson Hays, md. 1833 in Jackson, TN.

LYDIA BUTLER RAWLINGS (1834-1904) died unmarried.

JAMES S. RAWLINGS (1835-1902) md. Mary Morrison in 1866

RACHEL D. RAWLINGS (1837-1902) md. G.E. Morrison 1866

STOKELY H. RAWLINGS (1838-1962) died unmarried in War Between the States

Below are records compiled by Shirley and her aunt, Elsie Doke, both being original subscribers to the newsletter. They trace their ancestors back to the MOSES or MICHAEL RAWLINGS of England, Maryland (?), Kentucky and points west.

GEORGE W. RAWLINGS, b. 1844, Edina, Knox Co., Missouri. He married Lucy Wonderly in Edina Dec. 25, 1865. His parents were JAMES RAWLINGS and wife Rachel Lemmon.

There is no death date for GEORGE but Lucy died Oct. 25, 1930, in Springfield, Greene Co., Missouri. Her parents were Daniel Wunderlich and Nancy Laughridge.

Children:

ZENA MARILDA, b. Sept. 24, 1866, in Edina, Knox Co., NO. She md Robert N. Long, April 19, 1892, and she died March 31, 1931 in Springfield.

EZEKIEL RAWLINGS, b. Aug.3,1868, in Edina; md. Georgia M. Wasner Jan.13,1891, and he died March 31, 1931, in Cedar Rapids, Linn Co., Iowa, but was buried in Springfield, MO.

SUSANNIE RAWLINGS, b. Jan. 10, 1870, Edina, Knox Co., MO; md. G.W.Byrne June 2, 1894 in Springfield, Greene Co., MO. She died March 9, 1936 in Springfield.

GEORGE MARTIN RAWLINGS, b. 1872, in Edina, MO; and married Cora Agnes Olinger Nov. 16, 1890 in Springfield, Greene Co., NO. No record of death date.

MINNIE MAE RAWLINGS, b. April 10, 1874, in Edina, MO; md. Henry Vinson Doke Jan. 10, 1894 in Springfield, MO. MINNIE died June 15, 1958.

CHARLES, b. 1876, Edina, MO, , No more known.

MARY ELLEN, b. April 11, 1878, Edina, MO, md. John Byrne, no date known. She died October 23, 1911, Springfield, MO
