Their are quite a few descendants of EZEKIEL who are subscribers to the newsletter. Also descendants from other children of MOSES/MICHAEL.

The progenitor EZEKIEL was born in 1765 in Virginia. After he married Nancy Curry they purchased land in Pendleton Co., KY from the famed indian scout Simon Kenton. in 1806. At the beginning of the War of 1812 EZEKIEL joined the 10th Regiment of the Pendleton County Militia and later fought in the Battle of Fort Meigs, sometimes called the Battle of Raisin River at Frenchtown, Michigan now known as Monroe. It was in this battle that the Indians took an active part with the British and captured 500 prisoners. Although these Indians owed their allegiance to Tecumseh, and knew that Tecumseh had forbade them to kill prisoners, the British allowed them to, and 400 prisoners were massacred, EZEKIEL amongst them. This battle was on May 5, 1813.

They include sale of properties and items of the estate, etc. ASAHEL had pre-deceased his father MICHAEL and there were settlements noted in that regard. ASAHEL had no children and left what he had to his widow JANE.
