From Sacramento Bee, Sacramento, CA - September 9, 2001-
JEAN P. ROLLINS.
A longtime resident of Northern Virginia residing in
Sacramento for the last 7 years, passed away September 16, 2001, at the age of
75. Loving mother of Jerry Roberts, Betty Neil and Skip Rollins. Beloved
grandmother of Michael Connery, Lisa Roberts, Jennifer Roberts and Amy Neil.
Cherished sister of Bill Partain, Thelma Baker, Helen Vineyard and Connie
Price. She was preceded in death by her husband RONNIE R. ROLLINS. A member of
Order of the Eastern Star, she will be greatly missed by her family and
friends. Funeral services September 21, 2001, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of south
East Lawn Mortuary, Elk Grove.

DEED - Nov. 2, 1686 - Miles Gibson, for 9,000 pounds of
tobacco, conveying to JOHN RAWLINGS, planter, 150 acres, being half of tract
“Collets Neglect” at Elk Neck Creek in Gunpowder River, said tract formerly
granted to George Holland, and later being the dwelling plantation of Michael
Judd. Witnesses: Mark Richardson and Miles Gibson. John Hall, sub-sheriff,
received 6 shillings from RAWLINGS for alienation. (?)
