Rita's husband Hugh descended from RAWLINS who went from England to the Caribbean islands, particularly St. Kits- She notes that sometimes we don't research enough and told of discovering that members of Hugh's family in the 1600's on “commuted” back and forth from the islands, Canada and the United States. One ancestor whose parents and grand-parents went to St. Kits from England...returned to England, married a girl in Ireland and the couple had one child, and then went to Canada where they had several more children, and then traveled on to Norfolk, Virginia. Descendants of that line now live in Pittsburgh, PA. Almost unbelievable!
