Happy Holidays Cousins!

First I must apologize for my errant typewriter which is now headed for the scrap-heap. It refused to print capital "I", "E' or "P and it's time to let it rest. I am reminded of my dear late husband Wayne's reaction when it came time to do the same for his aged Ford. He vowed to bury it rather than junk it, but luckily a man came along who restored Ford's and offered to buy it. Wayne was happy to give it to him, although with a tear in his eye as it was driven away. I probably will do the same with my poor 19 year old machine.

Secondly I must report that I have received several unhappy comments about the article we did in the last issue, the one of Ed Wiessing's musings on whether it is MOSES or MICHAEL who is the ancestor of many of our subscribers including Ed. As the Editor of the newsletter it is my practice to publish any such articles which might provoke opposite views and those who disagree or have proofs to the contrary should offer other information such as bible records, wills and other proofs like family histories either oral or written. I'll be happy to print them. In that way everyone benefits. We have done it before when some disagreed with information presented re HENRY ROLLINS who came from Ireland to Pennsylvania pre-Revolutionary War. Another time it was the correcting of the information on ELIJAH RAWLINGS who married Elizabeth McGill. So let' hear from you.

I wish you all the best holiday season you are able to enjoy while our nation is in its present unhappy situation.
