R/RFHA Newsletter, September 1998 P.30
After years of research one of our charter
members/subscribers, RICHARD SCOTT ROLLINS, has produced a truly marvelous work
"The Rawlings Family of Surry and Sussex Counties, VA 1617-1799"
(specifically the ancestors of RICHARD ROLLINS Jr. (1771-1838). He hastens to
point out that there are speculative entries, although they are not many. He
has copied verbatim from research done by Party 17th and 18th century
researchers, along with their misspellings, and has done much and thorough work
on his own, even in England. You can contact him at 2484 County Rd. 222,
Durango, CO 81301
