In answer to the Editor's request. on P. 53 of the December Newsletter, Beverly

informed us: ASEAL RAWLINGS & Nancy Pendergrass in Nelson Co., Y Marriage.. Records (1785-1800) offered marriage bond, signed by Christy Romine. They were married by John Whittaker. It was noted that RAWLINGS was considered a stranger to that area.

Regarding the obituary of KATHLEEN (KAY) KAMAN RAWLINGS, P.57 of the December newsletter, STUART LAMAR RAWLINGS Jr. was a descendant of Col. MOSES RAWLINGS of Revolutionary War fame.
