MARY RAWLINGS, dtr. of WILLIAM and Barbara RAWLINGS of Fleming Co., KY, md. Charles Samuel Day. They left Fleming Co., KY and may have settled in Delaware Co., Ohio.

WILLIAM RAWLINGS, son of WILLIAM and Margaret Day RAWLINGS of Fleming Co., KY, md. Martha Vanlandingham. They migrated to Randolph Co., Indiana. Their children were: JEREMIAH (Jerry), b.1849 ... JAMES PRESLEY, b. 1845...AARON b. 1847... WILLIAM, b. 1849.. .FRANCES, b. 1855...MARY E. b. 185b.-JOHN D., b. 1860... OLIVER A., b. 1864.

JEREMIAH RAWLINGS, son of WILLIAM and Martha Vanlandingham RAWLINGS of Randolph Co., IND. He was b. 1843, wife Willa Ann ... Children: MARTIN VANBUREN, b.1875...SUSAN b. 1877...WILLIAM b. 1870...INA NORA b. 1880. There are so many WILLIAMS, PRESLEYs and DAYS in this branch of the family it would be nice to have the answers to many questions.

In the R/RFHA Newsletter, September 1997, WILLIAM RAWLINGS Sr's will, Fleming Co., KY - from the National Genealogical Society Quarterly, Vol. 92 #1, P.18:-ELIZABETH's name (she was probably the second child in the family) was married to Will Day before coming to Kentucky. The family was in Loudoun Co., VA before that.

ELIZABETH RAWLINGS, dtr. of PRESLY and Elizabeth (Bowen) RAWLINGS of Fleming Co., KY. md. James Armstrong in 1868. They lived in Grove City, Christian Co., Ill-later in Atchison, Kansas in 1861. Children were: PRESTON, TOMMY, ARTHUR SCOTT, and a fourth child, name unknown. Anyone know of this family? PRESLEY also had a son ANTHONY who stayed in Fleming Co.

John J. Sedwick, b. Feb.19,1778; d. 1821 Monroe, MD. He md. ELIZABETH RAWLINGS in Calvert Co., MD Dec .1,1786.

Leonard John Sedwick, b. Mar.23,1836, md. SARAH RAWLINGS, b. 1837.

Ann has made a very good suggestion: since so many RAWLINGS were early settlers in Calvert and Anne Arundel Counties, Md, Perhaps we should subscribe to their excellent and informative newsletters. We could even make a deal of exchanging newsletters. Your Editor is looking into that.
