R/RFHA Newsletter, March 1998 P.2
Received a marvelous Pedigree Chart from subscriber DICK
ROLLINS of Durango, Colorado. In a small square underneath each name he had a
,small photograph of the person named. What a great idea! It takes a little
work but certainly gives meaning to names

CORRECTIONS
On P.50 of the December issue Corinne Lawson informs us
there is an error in the info from Ricky Mobley for the THOMAS RAWLINGS family.
The family lived and
died in Independence Co., Arkansas, not in Indiana County.
****
On P.58 of the December issue the birthdate of AARON MADISON
RAWLINS should be 1812. My error.

One again we have Halbert's Putting out a supposed history
of your family. It has always been RAWLINGS or RAWLINS before, but now they are
writing to those whose surname is ROLLINS. At least this time they make a note
of caution: NO DIRECT GENEALOGICAL CONNECTION TO YOUR FAMILY OR TO YOUR Ate IS
IMPLIED OR DEEMED. Thanx to Aristotle ROLLINS, one of our subscribers, we heard
of this. Take care.

Subscriber Byrd. Tribble has sent me a wonderful history and
description of ELLANGOWAN, the original home of the Spotsylvania County, VA
RAWLINS. It includes a map of the area, photographs of the old home, 200 years
old, before it burned down. The current owners are .kind enough to allow
persons to walk lot. Anyone descending from that line who would like a copy of
this information, just write to us.
