1807 JAMES RAWLINS witnesses deed Sept. 28, 1807 - Wm. Green of Retherford Co.,TN to Lewis Pitman, 60 acres on North side of Barren River of Sinking Creek. Witnesses: Geo.Wright, Jos.Wells and JAMES RAWLIN. Warren Co. Deed Book 4 P.180.

1808 James sells 70 acres Sept. 8, 1808, in the 33rd year of American Independence, conveying to John Johnston 70 acres, part of tract originally granted to Frederick Edwards, assignee of James Montgomery. Witnesses: John Bickham, Lewis Pitman, Moses Johnson. Warren Co. Deed Book 4, P.211.
