The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution
has an excellent and improving Genealogical Research Library at the National
Headquarters of the Society in Louisville, KY. The Librarian wishes to enhance
the Family History section of the collection with a copy of our
RAWLIN(G)S/ROLLIN(G)S Family History story. For our information the Society
enclosed a brochure which describes this facility in more detail.
They then asked if we or any of our subscribers had
published a family history, and if so would he or she consider donating a copy
to the NSSAR Library in Louisville. If so, please send the contribution to the
following address:
Michael A. Christian, Librarian
NSSAR Headquarters
1000 South Fourth Street
Louisville, KY 40203
I have written them to inform them I would note their
inquiry in this month's newsletter, and I also told than of our quarterly and
asked if they wish us to send them copies on a regular basis.
We have four subscribers who have written their family
histories up in book or manuscript form. I hope they will make a donation to
this library.
