From Scioto Furnace Cemetery, located on a hill near
Gephart Roar, on State Route 140 at Scioto Furnace, Ohio. These inscriptions
were recorded Oct. 3, 1991, by Virg and Marguerita Ramsey, and updated thru
1992.

In an FGS from Virginia, it is indicated that the above mentioned
ANTHONY and REUBEN were the sons of ANTHONY Sr., b. Virginia ca 1798, md. Nancy
Hopkins in Scioto Co., Ohio Jan. 3, 1837; and died in South Webster, CH. Aug.
8, 1902. He was an iron ore digger in Virginia, and died at age 104. His two
sons were ANTHONY Jr., b. May 20, 1848 and died Feb. 1, 1917 in Bloom Twp.,
Scioto Co., Ohio. His brother REUBEN was b. ca 1841, nothing further known.
There were perhaps other children. According to ANTHONY ROLLINS Jr.'s death
certificate, he was 73 years of age, was a farmer and military pensioner, had a
wife named Elizabeth

"In the name of God, Amen, this 20th day of December in
the Year of Our Lord
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy-Six, I, BENJAMIN
RAWLINGS of Bedford County, being very sick and weak but in perfect mind and
memory, thanks be given to God, and calling to mind my mortality, and that it
is appointed once for all men to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and
Testament. That is to say principally and first of all, I give my soul to God
that gave it, and my body I command to the earth to be buried in a
Christian-like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executors. And as for
my worldly goods wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give
and bequeath in the following manner and form: Imprimus, I leave to my Mother,
ANN RAWLINGS, during her natural life the land and plantation whereon she now
lives, and after her decease I give the said land and plantation to my brother,
JOHN RAWLINGS, to him and his heirs forever. Likewise all the wages that is due
to me for being a soldier, and my rifle gun which I desire may be sold, and
other debts that is or may be due to me, to be raised and payment to be made to
discharge a Bond which may be due to Capt. George Caldwell. And after the said
Bond being paid what may remain over and above, I give to my mother to make use
of during her life. And after her decease to my sister ANN RAWLINGS: likewise
my cattle I leave to my
