R/RFHA Newsletter, March 1995 P.2
Concerning the Editorial letter of the December 1994 Newsletter, and mention of Dr. George K. Schweitzer who has put together several if not many books on genealogical research, we received a note from Shirley Draheim who told of hearing Dr. Schweitzer at the Ozark Genealogical Society a few years ago, and it was an unforgettable experience. He spoke on the Revolutionary and civil war, and in each session he dressed the part with full uniform, and even spoke the dialect of the period. It was as though one was transported back in time. He really brought history to life!
For the first time in the 7 years we've been publishing the newsletter the R/RFHA is really in the black! I hasten to point out to you that this is because your Editor found a copy house which would do our publication for 2 1/2 per page instead of 4 1/2 per page. So now we are making a profit and that creates a problem. I've dealt with it in the Editorial Letter so read it carefully and give me your thoughts. We have to spend the money or we can be taxed. So let me hear from you.
