R/RFHA Newsletter, December 1995

Further to the paragraph on P.30 of the September 1995 issue of the Newsletter:

HOWARD ROLLINS, lead singer of the Rock group "The ROLLINS Band". In this case he pronounces the name "roll-ins".

Just discovered a PAT RAWLINGS (male) who is the graphic artist on the cable series "This Week in Science". He does beautiful work.

Anyone knowing of the new address for Gladys Rollins Brand, please let us know. Her last address was 329 Minnesota Ave., McComb, Miss. 39648.  Her newsletter came back marked

JOSEPH RAWLINGS, son of JAMES RAWLINGS of King Georges County, VA, is somewhat of a mystery to those of us researching the King Georges Co. RAWLINGS. He shows up as a son, b. 1762 and d. 1812. His wife was Elizabeth Robinson, died Aug. 18,1812 at age 44. He and Elizabeth were married in Anne Arundel County, MD Jan. 21, 1802. Both JOSEPH Jr. and Sr. are found in the Virginia Taxpayers List of 1782-1787 in King George's County. Does anyone have any other information on these King George's Co. RAWLINGS?
