JOSEPH RAWLINGS, son of JAMES RAWLINGS of King Georges
County, VA, is somewhat of a mystery to those of us researching the King
Georges Co. RAWLINGS. He shows up as a son, b. 1762 and d. 1812. His wife was
Elizabeth Robinson, died Aug. 18,1812 at age 44. He and Elizabeth were married
in Anne Arundel County, MD Jan. 21, 1802. Both JOSEPH Jr. and Sr. are found in
the Virginia Taxpayers List of 1782-1787 in King George's County. Does anyone
have any other information on these King George's Co. RAWLINGS?
