Volume 7, #1 March
1994
Dear Cousins:
We're happy to report that as another year (our 7th)
begins, the renewal rate is excellent. Only 20 or so have not renewed. nor
1994. This 'is just a timely warning that if a subscriber hasn't re-signed by
the June issue their subscription steps, so please don't forget. Of course, if
you do, we can always sign you up again in the future. That's happened to
several of our long-time subscribers in the past.
This is also the month that the index for the 1994
issues is included in this mailing which means the March newsletter is only 12
pages in length. You will note in the 1994 index that there is no month initial
noted by the pace numbers. This is because of our chancing over to a straight
1-60 page enumeration system for the issues. A cautionary note, however: I
goofed on the June 1994 issue and forgot to start it at P.13. Please remember
to number the pages of that June '93 issue from 13 to 23. Also, I feel I should
explain why (Mrs.) is written by some names in the index. This means that the
person named. appears in the body of a newsletter but that she is not a RAWLIN
(G)S-ROLLIN(G)S by birth but by marriage.
The correspondence continues to flow into our hands
in torrents-always interesting, sometimes puzzling. That's why you often see
the Editor's name in the Queries. I get hooked on some of your mysteries and
become as eager to solve them as you are.
