1843 - Marion Co., Illinois Marriage Record: LEVI RAWLINGS m. Louisa Burris May 13,1843
1850 census, St. Clair Co., Illinois, Dist. #3, 1843
LEVI RAWLINGS 58 - married - Farmer - b. Kentucky
Louisa - 34 (wife) - b. Ohio
ELIJAH - 17 - farmer - b. Illinois
MARTHA - 12 - b. Illinois
WALICE V. (Wallace ?) - 6 - born Illinois
Francis N. Burns, male, 16, b. Illinois
LEVI and Sally Keaton RAWLINGS were married between 1813 and 1826. The children of that marriage were definitely REBECCA, TAULBERT, ELIZABETH and an unnamed child who may have died young - and possibly SARAH V. whose birthdate is listed as between 1825 and 1830. The children of LEVI and Jane Sutton could be SARAH V., and definitely were ELIJAH D. and MARTHA who were born ca 1833 and 1838 respectively. The child of LEVI and Louisa Burris was definitely WALICE/WALLACE V. b. ca 1844. The Francis Burns mentioned in the 1850 census for Clair Co., Illinois, could be -a child of Louisa's first marriage to a Burriss, and the surname is mis-spelled on the census. But that is only speculation.
REBECCA m. Nathan Bishop in 1837 in Clay Co., Illinois; TAULBERT m. Martha Ann Dilman in 1839 in Clay Co.; ELIZABETH m. Stanford Webster in 1839 in Clay Co.; SARAH V. m. Thorns P. Stewart in 1843 in Clay Co.; ELIJAH m. Martha A. Craig in Marion Co., Ill, and he was killed in the Civil War. So far, there are no records of the marriages of MARTHA or WALICE/WALLACE.
