The
Rawlin(g)s Rollin(g)s Family History Association
Volume 4, No. 4 December
1991
Season's Greetings, Cousins a11!
It's been a reasonably good year for the R/RFHA. Although
by June we had lost about 25 members who hadn't renewed, since then we've
picked up eight new ones, and 2 have re-subscribed from a couple of years ago.
Let's hope we can increase the subscription list in 1992.
Speaking of that, you will find enclosed the renewal slip
for 1992. Already 6 have re-joined for next year. Also several members have
paid for a subscription to be sent to a genealogical library or organization,
which is a very good idea. Donations have also helped the income for the
Association, so we are able to come through the year balanced. Thanks to all of
you.
We had one large expense this quarter due to the fact my
elderly typewriter needed to be serviced and repaired. But since we haven't had
to do that the previous 4 years, it doesn't seem too much of an expense when
you average it out.
So, keep the information going. We still receive so many
wonderful compliments from people who receive our free copies, as well as kind
mention from you who pay to read the Newsletter. It's most heartening. And then
there are the genealogical puzzles that are solved for some of our subscribers.
That really is a thrill for all concerned. If we keep it up, perhaps We'll all
be able to hand our descendants a thorough family history. Won't that be
great!?
May you all have a marvelous Christmas, and a healthy,
happy and research successful New Year.
