MOSES
ROLLINS: Enlisted Oct. 5, 1780, in Culpeper County, under the
command of Capt. Smith; attached to regt. commanded by Col. Buford, Virginia
Line. Served to end of war. At Battle of Guilford Courthouse, recv'd wound
which later entailed amputation of both legs below the knees. He was 18. Md.
Nancy Cave of Ritchie Co., WV Dec.5, 1814. She was 32 yrs. younger than her
husband. He received pension in 1819, d. Feb. 4, 1856, aged 96. He was issued 2
bounty land warrants, one for 60 acres, one for 100 acres. Nancy recv'd widow's
pension in 1857. Some records say MOSES had 5 children, others say 11 children.
